Vcielky – hodina 3/7/2020 + Praca na nasledujuci tyzden

Mili rodicia,

na minulotyzdnovej hodine sme sa s Vcielkami venovali teme Mesto/Dom/Kde byvame. Zacali sme mestom, a rozmyslali ako sa nazyvaju dolezite institucie alebo obchody v nom (ako napr. kniznica, potraviny, kvetinarstvo, kostol, lekaren). Pomohla nam aj kniha Rozvijanie reci hrou na str. 38 s obrazkom mestecka.

Nasledne sme sa presunuli do vlastneho pribytku. Vyplnali sme pracovny list s obrazkom domu. Nazvali sme si vsetky dolezite miestnosti a izby, nabytok a prislusenstvo.

Cez prestavku sme sa sli vyvetrat na ihrisko a pokracovali hrou. Deti si postupne vytahovali obrazky z prirody a davali ostatnym napovedy, ake zvieratko alebo rastlina su. Sposob hry sme v polovici zmenili a deti mali za ulohu klast otazky a tak zistit co sa na karticke skryva. Celkom ich tato hra bavila. Urcite ju skusime znova, lebo je vyborna na rozvoj slovnej zasoby a sposob kladenia otazok (treba vediet spravne polozit otazku tak, aby osoba s obrazkom odpovedala iba ano/nie, a postupne sa dopracovat k odpovedi). Mozno aj vy mate hru Headbanz (alebo iba tiez pouzite akekolvek karticky s obrazkami). Zahrajte sa ju v tychto dnoch, kedy sme spolu doma, a skuste ju hrat po slovensky!

Kedze sa nasledujuci tyzden, mozno viac, v skolicke neuvidime, posielam vam domacu ulohu. Mozte si ju rozdelit na viacero dni. Zacina rozpravkou O troch medvedoch, na ktoru nadvazuju otazky na porozumenie, obrazkove ulohy, uloha na zdrobneniny, prirovnania, ci nazvy zvieratiek. Rozpravku si mozte precitat spolu, potom skuste nechat dieta citat same nahlas so spravnou vyslovnostou.

Prajem vam vsetkym vela sil, zdravia, a ked nic ine, berte tieto dni ako dobru prilezitost na venovanie sa jeden druhemu, Spolocenske hry, citanie, rozvijanie jazyka.

Dear parents,

At last week’s lesson, we spent time talking about the City / House / Where we live. We started with the city we live in and named the important institutions or shops in the city (eg book store, grocery store, flower shop, church, pharmacy). For this task we also used the book “Rozvijanie reci hrou ” on p.38 and an image of a town.

Then we continued by talking about the place we live in. We filled out a worksheet with a picture of the house. We named all the rooms, furniture or equipment.

We went outside on the playground during the break and then continued the class with a game. The children pulled out some pictures from nature and gave others hints what animal or plant they are. Then we changed the way of the game and the children asked questions to find out what is on the card. They enjoyed the game and we will play it again. It is a great one for the vocabulary development and the way of asking questions (it is necessary to correctly ask the question so that the person with the picture responds only yes / no and you gradually find the answer). Maybe you have the game Headbanz (or just use any cards with the pictures). Play it together these days when we are all at home and try to speak Slovak!

As we won’t meet at school this week, maybe more, I’m sending you some homework. You can work on it slowly over the days. It begins with a tale of Three Bears, followed by questions and other tasks to work on. Try to read the story together, then let the child read aloud with the right pronunciation.

I wish you all a lot of strength, health, and if nothing else, take these days as a good opportunity to spend some quality time together, play games, read, work on languages.

Milí rodičia,

na minulej hodine nám bolo veselo, lebo sa k nám pridali mladšie Včielky. Napísali sme si na tabuľu dátum, počasie a tému, ktorou bolo opakovanie. Začali sme hrou s kartičkami, kde si žiaci náhodne vybrali zvieratká a museli ich potom svojim spolužiakom opisovať. Žiaci majú túto hru veľmi radi a je to výborný spôsob ako im na začiatku hodiny rozviazať slovenské jazýčky. Potom sme pracovali s časopisom Bublina. Ak budete mať niekedy možnosť tento časopis na Slovensku kúpiť, vrelo ho odporúčam. Deťom sa veľmi páči a je určený presne pre ich vekovú kategóriu. Sú v ňom zaujímavé a originálne témy a aj vizuálne je veľmi pôsobivý. Z Bubliny sme vypracovávali tajničku, kde deti do kvapiek vody dopĺňali názvy rôznych zvierat a potom sme tieto zvieratá rozdeľovali na sladkovodné a tie, ktoré žijú v slanej vode. Následne sme si prečítali maľované čítanie z Čítanky o dopravných prostriedkoch. Rozprávali sme sa o Bratislave a o rieke Dunaj. Ku koncu hodiny sme pracovali s prefotenou dvojstránkou, na ktorej bola slovenská fauna a flóra a žiaci odpovedali na otázky týkajúce sa obrázku. Na záver sme si zahrali obesenca, čiže hangmana. Mladší žiaci s pomocou knižky vymýšľali slová a starší žiaci hádali. Veľmi sme sa zasmiali a veru nám niektoré slová dali poriadne zabrať.

Vcielky – zhrnutie hodiny 02/22/2020

Mili rodicia,

kedze minula hodina mala velmi pekny datum, venovali sme ju celu teme Kalendar.

Povedali sme si, aky je rozdiel v pisani datumu na Slovensku a v US, akym dnom vacsinou zaciname tyzden. Kolko a ake dni v tyzdni mame, ako nazyvame casti dna, kolko dni maju mesiace, ako sa mesiace nazyvaju. Spomenuli sme, ze tento rok je vynimocny a ma o jeden den navyse, aj ktore mesiace zaradujeme do styroch rocnych obdobi.

Vysvetlili sme si sviatky slovenskych menin a kazdy si nasiel v kalendari datum svojich menin aj narodenin.

Z Citanky (str.56) sme precitali kratke basnicky ku kazdemu mesiacu. Pracovali sme aj s Kalendarom z knihy Hrave citanie s porozumenim a pracovnym listom na temu kalendar. Vsetko nam pomohlo dobre si zapamatat zakladne koncepty dni, tyzdnov, mesiacov a roka.

Buducu hodinu ma zastupi pani ucitelka Helenka a Vcielky sa spoja so Sovami. Urcite sa zabavia a vela sa naucia!

Dear parents,

since last Saturday was a very nice date in the calendar, we spent the whole class talking about the topic of Calendar.

We learned the difference in writing dates in Slovakia and the US, or what day do we start the week with in the calendar in the two countries. There was a lot to talk about: how many and what days we have in the week, how do we call different parts of the day, how many days do we have in a month, and how are the months called. We have mentioned that this year is special and we’ll have one day extra, and we also distributed the months into four seasons.

We explained the special name-days in Slovakia, and everyone found the date of their name day and birthday in the calendar.

From Citanka (p.56) we read short poems talking about every month. To remember the basic concepts of day, week, month and year, the kids worked also with two worksheets.

I will not be present this week’s Saturday, and the substitute teacher will be Helenka – Little Bees will be learning together with Owls. They will surely have fun and learn a lot!

Vcielky – zhrnutie hodiny 2/15/2020

Mili rodicia,

v suvislosti s dnom sv. Valentina sme sa na dnesnej hodine venovali citom a pocitom. Spomenuli sme si na rozne vyrazy a vyjadrenia pocitov, ako napr. zalubeny, prekvapeny, nahnevany, znepokojeny ci nestastny. Pomohli nam aj obrazky tvari, ktore vyjadrovali dany pocit (samostatny papier aj kniha Rozvijanie reci hrou na str.29). Deti kazdy z nich aj velmi vtipne dramaticky znazornili.

Dnesny pribeh na citanie bol z knihy Objim ma prosim (Przemysław Wechterowicz), v ktorej maly medvedik s otcom medvedom objimaju svojich susedov z lesa aby im vylepsili den 😉

Na tomto texte mozte trenovat citanie aj doma, posielam ho aj tu v prilohe. Tym, ktori dnes chybali, dam papierove materialy z dnesnej hodiny nabuduce.

Na konci hodiny Vcielky vyrabali Valentinky – pletene papierove srdiecka.

Pekny zvysok vikendu vam prajem!

Dear parents,

Today we talked about feelings, still thinking of st. Valentine’s Day. We mentioned various expressions of feelings such as: in love, surprised, angry, worried or sad. For reference we looked at pictures of different face expressions (on a separate paper and in the book Rozvijanie reci hrou on page 29). The children also depicted the feelings using their own faces (they were very funny)!

Today’s story to read was from the book “Hug me please” (Przemysław Wechterowicz), in which a small bear and daddy bear hug their neighbors to make their day better 😉

At home, you can practice reading on this story. I am sending the text here in the attachment. Those who missed the class will receive the paper materials next Saturday.

At the end of the lesson, the kids crafted paper Valentine’s hearts.

Vcielky – zhrnutie hodiny 02/01/2020

Mili rodicia,

na tejto hodine sme sa s detmi venovali teme varenia a pecenia. Na zaciatku sme si precvicili slova, ktore sa rymuju (pomocou knihy Rozvijanie reci hrou). Detom to islo velmi dobre, s lahkostou sme presli 3 strany ucebnice. K teme varenia sme si spolu prerozpravali recept a sposob vyroby palaciniek. Citali sme aj recept na ovocny salat a pridali k nemu dalsie oblubene suroviny. Cast hodiny sme venovali citaniu rozpravky Hrncek var (z knihy Rozpravky na rozpravanie). V citani sa Vcielky striedali a trenovali sme spravnu vyslovnost slovenskych slov. Nie je to pre nich uplne jednoduche, budeme sa teda citaniu venovat stale viac. Ak by ste mali doma chvilu cas, mozte spolu trenovat citanie spomenutej rozpravky (maju ju v zakladacoch). Na konci hodiny sa deti zahrali oblubene pexeso.

Dear parents,

the theme of our class last Saturday was cooking and baking. First, we practiced words that rhyme (with the help of the book Rozvijanie reci hrou). Kids did really great and we went very easily through 3 pages of the book. Then we talked through a recipe for pancakes – what ingredients we need and how to cook them. We also read a recipe for fruit salad and added some other favorite ingredients. We continued with a story called Hrncek var (about a cup that cooked itself) and the kids took turns in reading. It is still not easy for them, so I will make sure to practice more. If you could find some time at home, practice reading the above mentioned story (they have the papers in their binders). We finished the class by playing a memory card game.

Vcielky – zhrnutie hodiny 01/25/2020

Mili rodicia,

S Vcielkami sme sa venovali teme listov. Listov na strome, aj listov, ktore posielame postou. Rozpravali sme sa o oboch moznostiach, a citali pomocne materialy. K teme listov na stromoch sme najprv prerozpravali pribeh O nenasytnej husenicke (E.Carle), ktora spapala nielen vela listov ale aj mnoho inych dobrot az ju rozbolelo brucho. Listy zacinaju na pismeno L, Slabikar nam pomohol rocvicit jazycky a trenovat vyslovnost.
Spolocne sme premyslali, co vsetko potrebujeme mat alebo urobit na to, aby sme poslali kamaratovi list postou. Precitali sme si list dievcatka Evicky, ktore pisalo babicke z vyletu v Bojniciach. A nakoniec si deti vyrobili krasne zalozky do knih, pricom niektori mali na mysli aj temu dna a na zalozky listy namalovali.

Dear parents,

The theme of our class were leaves and letters/mails – we would use the same word “listy” in Slovak – therefore we were trying to figure out the difference. Leaves on trees and letters we could send by post to a friend. First we retold the story of a Very Hungry caterpillar (E.Carle), who ate not only beautiful leaves, but also a lot of other yummy food to end up with a tummy ache. Letters or Listy start with an L, so the school book Slabikar helped with the practice of the correct pronunciation.
The kids were trying to come up with all the things we need to have /or to do, if we want to send a letter to a friend. We read a letter from a little girl Evicka to her grandmother. And finally, the kids crafted some beautiful book marks. Some of them also used the theme of the day and painted leaves onto the marks.

Vcielky – zhrnutie hodiny 01/18/2020

Mili rodicia,

na tejto hodine sme sa venovali s Vcielkami teme Rastlin – konkretne jarnym kvietkom.

Jazycky sme najprv rozcvicili stupnovanim pridavnych mien (napr. dobry – lepsi – najlepsi, atd).

Potom sme si precitali kratky pribeh o Pupave z Citanky. Deti rozmyslali, kde pupava rastie, ake ma rozne podoby, ci na co sa pouziva. Dalsie jarne kvietky ako tulipan, fialka ci snezienka doplnili do krizovky (tiez v Citanke). O snezienke jarnej sme si tiez precitali kratky odborny text a deti odpovedali na otazky na porozumenie informacii.

Nakoniec si vsetci malovali krasne zlte aj biele pupavy aj snezienky.

Dear parents,

the topic of our last class were plants and spring flowers.

First, we practiced the gradation of adjectives (such as good – better – best, etc). Then we worked with the book Citanka and read a short tale about Dandelion. Children also learned where it grows, what forms it has or what do we use it for. They solved a crossword puzzle with other spring flower such as Tulip, Violet or Snowdrop. We read a short botanical text about Snowdrop and the children answered questions about the information they have learned.

Everyone then painted some beautiful yellow and white Dandelions and Snowdrops.
